خیر، جرمگیری به منظور حذف پلاک و رسوبات روی دندان ها انجام می گیرد و با دستگاه اولتراسونیک انجام می شود و پلاک هایی که موجب التهاب لثه می شوند را از بین می برد. در جرمگیری هیچ تراش و آسیبی به مینای دندان وارد نمی شود و برای دندان نیز ضرر ندارد.

درمان های زیبایی کاملا سلیقه ای است. این درمان ها همراه با مقداری تراش روی دندان هستند و بعد از گذاشتن لمینیت اگر تحت فشار قرار گیرد امکان پریدگی یا شکست هست که در حالت اول پالیش انجام می شود ولی در حالت دوم تعویض کامل انجام می شود.
 
 
اگر پست و کور درست انجام شود جای هیچ نگرانی نیست. فقط باید توجه شود که بهداشت فردی دهان و دندان به درستی دقت و رعایت شود.
 
حتما باید به متخصص ریشه مراجعه کرد تا داروی مناسب تجویز شود و دندان ها از لحاظ درمان ریشه به طور صحیح بررسی شود.
